Your medical documents are not our data.
CoverageCheck reviews Medicaid denials. The documents you upload are medical records. We treat them accordingly.
What we collect
Account email. Provided by your OAuth single sign-on (Google or Microsoft) when you authenticate. We do not collect or store passwords.
Payment data through Stripe. All payment processing happens inside Stripe. We never see card numbers or bank account details. Stripe confirms that your payment cleared and shares the transaction amount and date.
Uploaded denial documents and income documentation. Used solely to generate your report. Encrypted in transit and at rest. Deleted automatically after report delivery.
How long we keep your documents
Uploaded medical documents are deleted within 7 days of report delivery. We retain only the metadata showing that a report was generated. We do not store the documents long-term.
Does CoverageCheck sell my data?
No. CoverageCheck does not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is used solely to generate your report.
HIPAA
Lonia AI is not a covered entity under HIPAA, but CoverageCheck applies HIPAA-grade safeguards to medical documents as a matter of principle.
Your rights
- Access. Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Deletion. Request removal of your account and associated data.
- Portability. Receive your data in a portable format.
- Correction. Request correction of inaccurate information.
